Correa alba var pannosa 'Western Pink Star'

Description

Attractive low spreading groundcover with an unusual flower form from other correas. The flower (corolla tube) is split into 4 pink petals - more like a "star" rather than the tubular form of other correas. The overall appearance has a rusty colour due to dense hair covering. It will tolerate most soils and conditions including salt spray. Useful plant for soil erosion control and can be encouraged to climb over fences or walls. Tolerated very low temps in January 2007 - 16F with no damage.
