Protea amplexicaulis

Description

One of the loveliest low growing proteas with it's eucalyptus-like leaves and its purplish brown flowers opening up to white inside. Looks beautiful spilling over rocks and embankments where the flowers can be seen to their best advantage. Very cold and wind tolerant. Excellent small shrub for containers and small gardens.
