Grevillea mimosoides

Description

Beautiful sickle shaped green leaves that hang from the branch on a stout corky trunk. Creamy white cylindrical flowers 6-8" long appear in winter spring. It is a slow growing tree that doesn't like wet winter soils. Probably best grown in drier conditions with summer rain. Worth trying in San Diego area, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Florida.
