Grevillea bipinnatifida

Description

A low groundcover grevillea with blue-green prickly fern-like foliage and large red flowers most of the year. Very showy plant from Perth area in Western Australia. Grows best in full sun but tolerates some shade. Suffers frost damage in low 20F's but shoots back from the lignotuber. Responds well to pruning. Excellent for containers, embankments and hanging over a wall. It is also one of the parents of some of our favorite grevilleas! Grevillea 'Robyn Gordon', Grevillea 'Masons Hybrid', Grevillea 'Superb' and possibly Grevillea 'Boongala Spinebill'.
