Medium to tall shrub with large bright golden flowers with black styles or orange/red or yellow/gold- depending on seedling grown. Most grow true to seed but great variability of flower colour and size of plant. Flowers summer-fall through to winter-spring. Hardy in well-drained neutral soils. Excellent for under eucalyptus. Tolerates summer watering. Low growing species make handsome container plants and groundcovers. Ask what varieties are available before ordering.
