(Lsp. glabrum x Lsp. tottum) Compact attractive shrub  with scarlet red flowers in late spring-early summer. Excellent shrub for well-drained soils. Flowers best in open sunny position. Tolerant of moderate frosts once established. Excellent cut flower and hardy garden shrub. Ornamental container plant for many years.
