Description

Handsome upright shrub 6-15'x 3-9' with greyish small leaves and terminal bright red flowers in spring-summer. It can be shy to flower in cultivation. Plants prefer well-drained soils in full sun and are hardy to moderate frost and extended dry periods. These showy shrubs are excellent shrubs for mixed hedge or screen. Grows front-line coastal situations. Pruning promotes compact growth habit. Bird attracting and cut flower. Beautiful foliage plant.
