Description

Beautiful, showy, large, prickly shrub in full flower. Most forms are yellow flowered but occasional red forms occur. Grows in a wide range of soils and situations including saline, sandy or clay soils. Thick needle-like leaves. Excellent large screen or hedge suitable for larger gardens. Suitable for hot dry gardens. New introduction to California.
