Grevillea rivularis

Description

Attractive prickly variable spreading shrub with purple-pink toothbrush flowers appearing in spring-summer. It prefers well-drained light or heavy soils in full sun or shade position. Tolerant of heavy frost and extended dry periods once established. Will also tolerate moist to wet soils e.g.along a creek bed or pond. Tolerates heavy pruning. Great hedge/screen and bird refuge. Works well controlling foot traffic.
