Grevillea Little Honey

Description

Beautiful large orange flowering shrub grown commercially for it's large cut flowers. Tends to be wider than taller so makes an excellent hedge and screen. Growing well in San Diego county inland. This beautiful shrub is a Queensland plant believed to be a hybrid between Grevillea 'Honey Gem'(which is a tall shrub) and Grevillea banksii "White Dwarf". Flowers are large 6" long, orange with yellow styles and the profuse flowers appear in winter thru spring.Tolerant to about 20F and is drought tolerant once established. Excellent cut flower and screen or hedge.
