Pretty medium sized shrub or small tree from inland regions in Queensland. It has droopy, falcate, green leaves and bright yellow fragrant flowers. Hardy to hot dry sites although will grow well in coastal areas. It gets it's common name from its zig zag branches. Doesn't handle severe frosts.

Propagation Information: Seed germinated readily after 20 years in storage. Pour boiling water over seed and let soak overnight. Pat dry seed and sow in mix 3:1 Perlite:Peat.
Sow into propagation container and cover lightly. Drench seed with a fungicide to prevent 'Damping off". Avoid over-watering.
