Arizona Phytosanitary Certificate
As of January 1st, 2023, the Arizona Department of Agriculture requires all plants shipped to Arizona
to be certified free of pests. This means we must obtain
what is known as a phytosanitary certificate which involves having each shipment inspected and, of course, pay a fee for the certificate.
What does this mean to you?
First off, there will be a delay in shipping your plants as we schedule the inspection required for obtaining a phytosanitary certificate.
Additionally, there will be a handling fee of $150 to cover the cost of the certificate and coordinating with the County
to perform the inspection.
We realize that this is a large price to pay for shipping to Arizona and we are working on ways to reduce the cost as well as the delay.
Thank you for understanding,
